Managing the Urban Environment of Casablanca, Morocco

This article brings the contemporary thinking and practice of Urban Environmental Management (UEM) to solution current persistent environmental problems in Casablanca, Morocco. Casablanca is largest city Morocco country’s economic business center. Located on Atlantic coast Chaouia plain central-western part Morocco, has a population about 3.71 million urban area 4.27 Greater making it most populous Magreb region North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia Algeria), eighth entire Arab world. It also polluted metropolis with serious related its issues. The first considers context then reviews issues poverty alleviation, industry, energy, transportation, wastewater solid waste, water finance. Finally, proposes 5-year plan help alleviate city’s utilizing real world Database limited budget.
